Change of Pace

Sometimes it is good to have a change of pace. Kids are well cared for. So is the farm. I went to have an afternoon with a friend, driving around, enjoying the rainy afternoon and a pretty park. We shared stories, prayed together, cried a little and laughed a lot. Didn't even pull out the kleenex box. Then I enjoyed someone else's cooking. Cheese, red wine, hummus and crackers. Beef cooked out over a fire, green beans, a huge salad with Max's amazing radishes. More red wine and PORT.

I miss the farm when I take a little break, but even so, it is good to have a change of pace. Especially when it involves someone else's cooking! And cheese. And beef. And wine.

Here's to a new week. Happy Sunday.

We went to the Taubman Museum the other day and walked around the market and saw people selling goods and I thought of you and wondered if you sold there. I didn't see any redheads.

Glad you took a break. We all need that.
