Pain, Deeper than I ever imagined

I am reeling in shock and bewilderment.

My husband of 18 years passed away in our home tonight of acute heart failure. I will probably need to write about this quite a bit in the future, but for now, I desperately need your prayers for myself, and especially our five children.

I believe that the hand of the Lord is powerful.

I say that sobbing, barely able to breathe.

Crushing pain.

Please pray for our children. Thomas, 17, Patrick, 14, Maggie, 12, Rose, 9 and Nora, 6.

Thank you.

Dear Ginger - I just found out about Phillip. Sandra called to tell me. I am crying for this sweet man that I came to love last summer, and for the children, and for you.

Do you need help on the farm? Can I do something? Don't hesitate to call.

Much Love,
Ingrid

I don't know you but came here via someone else's blog. This stunned me though as deaths of this nature always do. I am so sorry.
I have suffered, and I remember feeling as small and helpless as anyone could feel and at that point, asking for help from God. And it was there. I used it all the time as I feel you will in the immediate future. My heart goes out to you.
