I hope that the canner will get to work soon on apple pie filling and applesauce.
I am glad you have nice Sunday afternoon memories.

Hi Anita. Wow. It is hard to think of these meanderings as powerful. But if they are, then I thank God who can take weak and foolish things and make something of them. Your encouragement is powerful to me. And btw, one morning I was feeling sad and lonely and for some reason you came to mind. I didn't have the wherewithall to actually call. Didn't want to speak to a soul, but in some mystical way, I felt like I was having a cup of tea with you! Isn't that weird?gingerhillery@mac.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11058818226976530765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6739655481104184892.post-58187415093463010462010-08-30T10:43:55.889-05:002010-08-30T10:43:55.889-05:0073rd anniversary. Doesn't seem to be a bad combiniation for a lady ith your life's journeys. Your children are so lucky to have a mother like you who has a rich belief in home and the Bible. My mom used to can every thing that she could, from venison to cherries. And we were all squeaky clean on Sunday morning, and off to church by 9:00 and back at 1:00. Sometimes we went on picnics, or just rides in the country, but I never had any Grandparents. My father was the last born in his family, and I was born when he was 50. Had he still been living, he would be 109 today. I loved those days.Tall, G, Nonnoreply@blogger.com
